General Features
The TUSCANIA collection consists of water-based neutral waxes, with matt, pure glossy, gold or silver highlights able to create modern patinas effects. The textures achieved with this product remind of ancient country houses with a modern look and are therefore perfectly suitable for decoration of interior walls in classical and modern environments. TUSCANIA is odorless, completely a-toxic and water-based.

Uses
- Finishing coat of exterior facades in historical town and country settings, in respect of the historical heritage of the surrounding environment.
- Patinas and stain works over new or pre-existing substrates.
- Finishing coat of exterior non-mineral facades, where highly prestigious aesthetic effect are actually required.
- Interior decorations.
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be perfectly dry and sound, dust-free, with no humidity or salt stains. New substrates: apply Antiche Patine, previously blended with Lattedicalce or Fasesilossanica and mixed with water. No intermediate treatment required.
Pre-existing substrates:
- Clean the wall with an adequate tool or high-pressure washing.
- Chalking and dusty substrates must be thoroughly brushed off and sealed with a proper siloxane primer, type Isosil. For water dilution rate and application procedure refer to the technical data sheet.
Application Procedure and Recommendation
- Substrate preparation: substrates must be perfectly dry and dust-free. A sealing coat of Acrilak (acrylic clear sealer) diluted 1:3 - 1:5 with water, depending on substrate absorption is usually recommended.
- Tuscania Fondo Strutturato application procedure: material is ready for use. A minimum water dilution is always possible, depending on the final texture required. Dip the brush inside the can and apply with circular or crossed strokes directly on the wall. Different tools originate peculiar decorative effects. This kind of application will avoid unaesthetic joints, even over large surfaces.
- Tuscania Velature - Waxes application procedure: the four waxes are ready for use. Each of them is available as a neutral tinting base to be colored with Mixcolor© tinting equipment, with an almost infinite color palette.
- Tuscania Velatura Silossanica, Siloxane highly permeable matt glaze: apply with a glove in one or two coats, depending on the chromatic depth of color required, directly over Tuscania Fondo Strutturato white or colored. The combination between a colored base coat and a colored wax produces original decorative effects. Tuscania Fondo-base coat may be applied with a rag or a sponge as well. Tuscania Velatura Silossanica is water resistant and may therefore be applied also in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Tuscania Velature a Cera - Glossy Wax apply over Tuscania Fondo-base coat with a white rag dipped inside the product, with circular strokes in one or two coats, depending on the chromatic depth of color required. When the product is completely dry, at any rate within 24 hours from application, polish the wall with a soft rag, so as to obtain the required level of sheen.

Packaging and Shelf-Life
1 and 2,5lt pails. The packaged product, if stored at temperatures between +5 and 35°C, is guaranteed for 12 months.
